What's important about this conversation is that it took place. I say this because the common thought process amongst Christians is we have to give people an opportunity to make things right. Alfonso gave me the benefit of the doubt in some form and was looking for I guess repentance on my part from what I said about his wife. I stand by my words to his wife, Ruthie.  I think the conversation could have gone differently had Alfonso not been carrying out the directives of his wife. I get it! I fully understand that he was asked to come to her aid and her defense. As you will see from the transcript, he immediately acknowledged that she was wrong for jumping into the post and making her comments in hopes that Dale Mast would come and give his side of the story. (This to date has never happened

I do not feel that this is a missed opportunity on Ruthie and Alfonso's part because they had already made-up their minds like so many that the quickest path to healing was to isolate themselves from the cancerous roots that comes from questioning authority. Many people have judged Kathryn and I in their judgment are quick to say you should just forgive Barbara Lynch and move on. They don't understand that this has nothing to do with forgiving her. I have already forgiven Barbara Lynch.  However, from the standpoint of this relationship, there will never be a move into reconciliation. Why? There is an unwillingness on the part of Barbara Lynch to acknowledge the wrongs that she has done not only to me, but to my wife, to Aaron Betz, and others in the Body of Christ.

Alfonso & Ruthie have had ought with my wife and I since the beginning of this conflict.  We did not tell them direct information about Aarron Betz and Barbara Lynch's journey into degradation. Ruthie wanted to know intimate details that were not publicly available at that time, I hoped that Aaron would come forth and share himself what took place but Aaron chose not to do this.  I tried to explain this in the Matthew 18'ing from Alfonso but he would not allow a dialogue. He had something that his wife wanted him to say and he needed to make sure that he said it or he would be in trouble with her. I get it. I understand. I don't agree but I understand.

Alfonso and Ruthie failed to see that what we did by leaving the Church was the more honorable thing then staying and fighting with Barbara Lynch about the path and the direction that she had already chosen to lead her Church down.  In hindsight there was a clear path for reconciliation between Barbara Lynch, Kathryn, and myself.  That path was ignored by the failure of Barbara Lynch to respond to the e-mails, her failure to respond to the letters of resignation, and her failure to even pick up the phone herself and call and say is there some type of misunderstanding here? To date she has refused to do this.  We cannot have a conversation with ourselves, so this is a moot point.  The reason that I can see that Barbara Lynch did not want to reconcile with us was the pure and simple fact that she needed myself and Kathryn out of the way so that she could carry on her wishes of removing the Word of God from the Lighthouse Inc., Church in order to help Aaron Betz not be convicted by the preaching and teaching of the Word of God.  This was calculated and proves that Barbara Lynch is not functioning or acting out of a state of dementia.

Let me stop here for a second. God bless the Body of Christ. We love our heroes. We love our leaders and as the building is burning down it is amazing to me how we will not allow the truth of a situation to prevail.  We can see the pastor carry gasoline, a lighter, and light the flame that started the fire, but we will fight for that leader despite clear direct evidence that they started the daggone fire.  Many people have offered the excuse that Barbara Lynch is going through a form of dementia because she is old. There is no evidence that this is true.  Everything she has said and done is the cold calculated way of how she is covered up her relationship with Aaron Betz. She has said that God told her to stop teaching the Bible because it's all supposed to be praise and worship. Praise and worship is what is supposed to bring down the “Glory of God”. No one stops to realize that she has been praising and worshiping now for approximately 22 months of this.  Where is the glory? Where is the fire of God? Where is the great revival that she has promised? She did what God told her to do. Why is God making her wait? Makes no sense to me. I was blind to it. I admit it but now my eyes are open and I see the truth for what it is. There is no dementia that can cause you to be so calculated and devious that you destroy yourself through lies, distortions of the truth, and perversions.  Barbara Lynch does not have dementia.

In looking back at this conversation with Alfonso, Alfonso was on a train track and was just intent on ramming his points through. Alfonso did not come to learn more truth with this Matthew 18' ing session. He came with the intent to defend and justify the actions of his wife. I give him credit for at least acknowledging that she was wrong for jumping into the page and making her comment for rebuttal from Dale Mast. In his mind, he came to expose the darkness that he assumed was in me by showing me how unrighteous I was. In his mind he succeeded. I know who loses from this conversation It is not me or Kathryn. It is Alfonso and Ruthie. Let's see where they will be at in another year. I don't think anything will change for them other than they will feel more empowered to continue their behaviors in support of the system, the Church and those who support it. I remain unafraid and unhindered. I will continue to throw my stones at the system, those who knowingly support and defend it, and those who pretend that they are not at fault.

The premise of the teaching is this: “You can live a better life for God by denying yourself.  You just have to let go of everything that is bothering you, put it on the altar, and walk away from it.  Mohler from minute 21 to min 23, Mohler implies that our Christ likeness springs from our ability to just forgive and let go of whatever is wrong in our lives.  We are to be like Christ, emotionless.  Emotions are not from God and Mohler’s proof is that Jesus Himself didn’t let his emotions get the best of Him.  Mohler said that we don’t see animosity, anger, discouragement in Jesus at all.  Where did we as humans get these emotions?  Jesus was totally pure, totally judged, totally misread, totally unaccepted, yet totally perfect. This is Mohler’s words, not mine.  Mohler’s teaching is not biblically sound.  What little scripture that Mohler did use was taken out of context.

Mohler believes that the importance of you surrendering your life to Christ is for you to find your purpose and once you find your purpose nothing will ever bother you again.  Why? Because you will become a love vessel like Jesus.  Once you become a love vessel it doesn’t matter what people do to you.  You will just be able to take it.  You will just be able to turn the other cheek and let them walk all over you and it will never bother you again.  This is not the scriptural view point.  This is cult like teaching that trains people to allow abuse and removes personal boundaries in the name of God.  This is a part of the system.

In the midst of this “teaching” that took place Mohler invokes the relationship of Todd White and shares how much Todd White means to himself and his ministry.  The problem with this is, Todd White has been exposed by Mike Winger and others for bad character and fake miracles.  Mohler knows because he stood in defense of Todd White’s supposed gifting.  He didn’t oppose White’s bad character.  He stood to protect his gifting.  Giftings be damned.  If your character is not godly, your gifting is perverted by the devil.  Todd has been confronted for faking miracles? This scandal has been going on for more than 2 years but this broadcast was released by Mohler in June 2026.

I am disappointed with the lack of concern by the Body of Christ for the victims of bad leaders. The Body of Christ is more concerned with rescuing those bad leaders at the expense of the sheep who have been wounded by them. This episode with Ruthie and Alfonso exposes the deeper level of deception that I did not see within the Body of Christ. The attacks have been real against my wife and myself. They all stem from the very same ideology. Just let the bad ministers do anything that they want to do because God will take care of them.  God will strike them down in due season.  I don’t see this pattern in scripture.  In fact, I see quite the opposite pattern. 

I claim no special privilege or purpose in the Body of Christ. I believe the scriptures give a clear mandate that if we see a bad shepherd we have a duty to protect any sheep that may get entangled with that bad shepherd.  Can Kathryn and I stop these bad shepherds? We do not have the power to do that. We know this and we understand this. Does every believer have a responsibility to be their brother's keeper and warn their brothers and sisters about bad shepherds? If you ask the Body of Christ today they all will say the same thing.  It's no one's job to do this. I will wholeheartedly disagree with this mindset, and I will throw stones at any bad shepherd that comes across my path. People don't like this about me but so what. The Body of Christ is made uncomfortable by me throwing stones.  So what? The Body of Christ wants peace at all costs. I don't think we should be content with just letting these bad shepherds devour the sheep.

Jesus cared about the sheep.  I think that we as believers have a duty to care for the sheep as well.  During my Matthew 18’ing Alfonso tried to say that I had no idea why Ruthie wanted Dale Mast to give a rebuttal?  He was right.  I did not know what Ruthie’s intentions for asking Dale Mast to give a rebuttal were about.  All I can say is this, that rebuttal never came.  I learned something from my Matthew 18’ing from Alfonso.  Ruthie’s reasons for wanting a rebuttal are not about her learning the truth.  Her reasonings are to make me look like I am just being mean for no reason.  I hope she goes on the following podcasts: “Ohio for Freedom, Laura Lynn Tyler Thompson, and the Unction”.  Each of these podcasts have highlighted the false doctrines and teachings of Dale Mast.  I scanned through the comment sections, I didn’t see her request for rebuttal on those podcasts.  Ruthie and Alfonso can say that I am cultic and disrespectful all day long.  The truth of the matter is they know that I am right.  Ruthie and Alfonso still believe that the system has something for them so they are going to work to protect the system.

I have been very clear with everyone that I have stones to throw at the system, those who support the system, and those who defend the system.
