4th Man in the Fire

As Believers, we are called to suffer but do we have to suffer in misery? I believe we forget that God is with us in the fire.

4th Man written by Jonathan and Melissa Helser is really encouraging.

“Who is this Man I see standing in the flames
Coming close to me
You move so fearlessly
Calling out my name
Have You come to save”

This is God. He never leaves us nor forsakes us.

Deuteronomy 31: 8- It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”

"You are above it all, but You stand here
Fourth Man in the fire,}
conquering my fears
You are above it all,
but You draw near
Walking on the water,
I will meet You here
Yes, I will meet You here”

Imagine truth. God being above all things, coming down to meet us right where we are. Taking away all our fears, leaving us with His love and peace. Turning the impossible into possible.

When the pressure is real
Your presence is greater
And when I stand in the fire
Your glory burns brighter”

How often do we think about the presence of God covering us, sheltering us in the fire? His glory burning brighter over us as we enter the dark valley’s. Why do we fret? Why do we suffer in misery?

God is true and faithful to His Children. There’s not one thing that slips past the Father’s eyes. He’s forever watching over us. He knows all and sees all.

As Believers, we need to stand on the truth that we know in our heart. No matter what face or how we feel, God is with us. He loves us with his whole heart, just like scriptures would suggest for us to love Him. We may not understand it all, but through it all, God has proven Himself over and over.

Be encouraged. He is with us.

Psalm 46: 1- To the choirmaster. Of the Sons of Korah. According to Alamoth. A Song. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Isaiah 41: 10 - Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Psalm 91: 1 - 16- He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
