Episode 9 - Exodus 7: 3 - 5 & I Thessalonians 2: 1 - 12

Christopher: Greetings. Welcome to the Gores. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God. And the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him. And without him, nothing was made that was made. John 1:1, 2, 3.
We believe at the Gores that the Word is the most important thing the life of a believer. Thank you for joining our wordcast. I wanted to present to you today some very, very important scriptures. the first scripture is going to be coming From Exodus, chapter 7, verses 3 to 5. This is the new King James Version.
And I will harden Pharaoh's heart and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt. But Pharaoh will not heed you, so that I may lay my hand on Egypt and bring my armies and my people, the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord when I stretch out my hand on Egypt and bring out the children of Israel from among them. Now, the reason why I feel this scripture is so important for this time period is that we are looking at the apostasy going on within the church. And the focus for the apostasy is on delusion and deception. But I want you to think about something from the perspective of there are going to be people who have the heart of Pharaoh that God has intentionally hardened.
He's hardened their hearts for a reason, to cause them to be what they are. And we don't like to say that, we don't like to think about that. But the reality is these people are necessary in order to get the body of Christ in the position that it needs to be in so that God can convince them, convince the body of Christ that he's God. Think about that. Look at that scripture again. And I will harden Pharaoh's heart and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt. But Pharaoh will not heed you so that I may lay my hand on Egypt and bring my armies and my people, the children of Israel, out of, the land of Egypt by great judgments. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord when I stretch out my hand on Egypt and bring out the children of Israel from among them.
So along with this apostasy is the Gentile church being brought out of the world. The Gentile Church is going to be brought into God's arms. Now, the scary thing about that is that the Gentile church in number has shrunken, the remnant has shrunken because so many of the body of Christ have become corrupted, have stopped listening to the voice of God and have started following their own, vision, their own way. This is important for you to understand because not only are you dealing with the rebellion that is taking place within the heart of the church, but you also have these people out there who have Pharaoh's heart. And God is using these situations to cause them to buffet the body of Christ. The body of Christ is being buffeted in this way. They're being buffeted to realize that God is who he said he is. He's never going to change. He is always going to demand respect, honor his glory from his people.

Christopher: The times that we're living in right now, today demand an accounting, demand a requirement of holiness, righteousness, and living in the Spirit. You cannot do that if you have one foot in the world and one foot in God. It's not possible. It's not possible for you to, attain those things. Let's look at second Thessalonians, chapter two. This is the Great Apostasy, verse one. Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Season Christ and our gathering together to him, we ask you not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by Spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means, for that day will not come unless the falling away comes first and the man of sin is revealed, the Son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshipped so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
We are seeing this very thing take place right now. We are seeing the body of Christ, the leaders in the body of Christ be deceived. They're being deceived because they want to pamper their flesh. They're being deceived because they want to remove the Word of God from out of your spirit man, your soul and your body, so that they don't feel conviction. And every time they are confronted with the word of God that is in you, they get convicted. They don't want to hear it. They don't want to acknowledge the Season that is inside of you. When you look at our root scripture, for the Gores, in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God. And the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him, nothing was made that was made. You have to live in the Word.
You have to live in the promises that God gave us through the Word, or you will not survive in this time period. You just won't. Second Thessalonians, chapter 2, verse 5. Do you not remember that when I was still with you, I told you these things? And now you know what is restraining that he may be revealed in his own time. For the mysteries of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. And then the Lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume by the breath of his mouth and destroy with the brightness of his coming. Verse 9. The coming of the Lawless one is according to the working of Satan with all power signs and lying wonders, and with all unrighteousness deception among those who perish because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
Verse 10 is a vital, vital key. It's a vital key. And with all unrighteousness and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Verse 10. And with all unrighteous deception among those who perish because they did not receive the love of the truth that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion that they should believe the lie that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. These two scriptures are key right now. They're key for understanding

Christopher: what God is doing and what is going on within the body of Christ. I pray that you will live a holy life before the Lord and that you would take these Scriptures and apply them to your daily living.
