Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
The Fruit of the Spirit are not attributes we receive when we are born, they are produced by Holy Spirit when we are reborn. Upon accepting Jesus Christ, we received the Holy Spirit and are newly transformed. The seeds are planted and daily fruit start to grow.
But planting seeds is never easy, as some of you may know. The soil can be unruly, tough and there are many bad habits, strongholds and impurities that must go. But thankfully, the gardener the Creator: the “Great I AM” knows everything there is to know, so we can successfully grow. The Father, a gardener of divine grace, the One who set everything in place. For this fruit to grow the Branches- which we are, have to be closely connected and entwined to the Almighty vine- a vibrant, living source, from which all life flows, a spiritual force.
While the Holy Spirit is at work, conforming us to the image of Christ. It is only through submission from the soil that the fruit in our lives developed to be ripe. To bring forth much fruit there is no other way. We must be willing to carry the cross, it is the cost we must pay.
Starting with Love a sacrificial act, a boundless compassion source of strength and forgiveness. Not the emotional one that leaves us lost in the act of unforgiveness. But the Agapi, love- the love that could only be obtain from above. Through self-sacrifice the love of God is shown, always willing to put others needs before our own. Following Jesus' example and humbling ourselves as a servant. Although this was not easy am sure we all might say, but through obedience we allow the Holy Spirit to show us the way.
With transformation in place, we meet with our Spiritual Father to plead every case. In doing so we developed Joy. The joy that comes from the Lord, more than a temporary happiness. A lasting Joy, that is needed for the world and its nastiness. Not built off of simply emotions, it was an active choice of attitude, and we do not think twice because of Him, we are redeemed and have eternal hope in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. With Peace we cannot truly understand, we, received it by accepting Jesus and following His commands. Making peace and forgiving others is a must, in order to receive the Lord’s trust.
When the rain comes and winds blow, we, find true comfort in The Great "I AM." Patience is birthed reflecting His grace; not short-tempered, but we develop patience waiting and enduring for this race. Understanding that growth and change takes time- we remember “the battle is the Lord’s and not mine”. Not passive in our waiting but with a steadfast heart, bearing one another's burdens, we play a worthy part. Showing perseverance and the willingness to wait with steadfastness in the fire, we do all the Lord requires.
Kindness blooms a fragrant grace, while in growth we, extend love to every face. Interceding for others; not putting ourselves first; but being a hearer and doer of the Word is what Jesus conversed. Kindness is what we are was able to bring, as we labored tirelessly in the midnight hours before the “King”.
We receive daily strengthening to carry out the Masters plan; and with His power we are able to give a stern, but gentle word and a helping hand.
We developed Goodness striving to live a life of truth, holiness and righteousness, is what the I AM commands us to follow through. Making choices that reflect God's character and promoting what is right and just, striving for excellence is a must. No Cross-No Crown as we chose what is right with steadfast grace while leaving a smile on everyone’s face.
As God continued to show His Faithfulness in every aspect of our life, we desire to be faithful too. As we call daily upon the Spirit of God to teach and renew. Faithfulness required being reliable, dependable, trustworthy and more. But even as the flesh rebelled, it was the Words of God that we adore. Holiness and righteous we take the stand. Without compromising in the Word of God, we carry out the Masters plan. With our faithfulness we will be rewarded when this race is won, and we look forward to hearing the sweet voice of Jesus say well done.
With Gentleness in each spoken word, we show authority and boldness as we upheld the Sword. No sharpness in our tongue do we heed. We lean on the Spirit of God to hold our tongue lest another heart bled. Practicing tenderness and submission to God. Humbling ourselves, being led by the Spirit came the active Word and when all was said and done the message is heard. Now for mercy and tenderness we plead while the sweetness of our soul overtake all harshness and by the “Savoir” we are freed.
Fulfilling our role, we step into Gods wisdom and practice Self-control. It emerges as we grew stronger in the Lord, although we do our best and dress with grace-putting on the whole amor of God, is the most important of our wardrobe. Saying yes to God and no to sin in the midst of temptation practicing discipline. Walking in the path of light dispelling the darkness with the help of the Lord never far from our sight. We remain in the Spirit and continue to stand tall, outwitting the devil with the Glory of the Lord and striving to do good above all.
Within each of us, the Holy Spirit lives and all His fruit “HE” wants to give. Don’t stop bursting with ripe fruit, continue to be daily transformed, while the Fruit of the Spirit continues to take root. Heavenly, Father Thank you, for the Blood of Jesus Christ and not allowing your sheep to go astray, because of Your faithfulness and love we all know the way.
